Cadwalader is driven by the belief that a world without hunger is possible, and fighting hunger is one of the four core areas of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) programming. The Firm’s leadership in the food insecurity space dates back to over three decades when a former partner, the late Jack Fritts, provided pro bono support to help incorporate Food Bank For New York City. Current efforts to combat hunger include the establishment of the annual Justice Served campaign within NYC’s legal community, serving on the Boards of major hunger relief agencies such as The Campaign Against Hunger, volunteering at food distribution centers and community kitchens, and engaging employees’ support and participation in the annual CWT Race Against Hunger – an opportunity to walk, run, or bike to raise funds for local food banks.
We invite you to join us in supporting the following hunger relief organizations this month – Food Bank For New York City, First Love Foundation’s Tower Hamlets Foodbank (UK), Martha’s Table (DC), Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (NC), and The Campaign Against Hunger (NY).
