In honor of Women’s History Month, Cadwalader's Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) is focusing on women’s health and care throughout the month. For millions of people worldwide, period poverty, or the inability to access menstrual products like tampons or pads, is a persistent and debilitating problem. The Campaign Against Hunger’s “I Got You, Girl!” campaign, founded by our Senior Manager of Pro Bono and CSR Annie Mohan, is a powerful reminder of the importance of making feminine products more accessible to those in need. We invite everyone to join us in this effort, and together we can make a difference! You can support the campaign by purchasing an item from our Amazon wish list. Items purchased from the wish list can be shipped directly to the Firm’s New York office when you select the following shipping option: “Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft's Gift Registry Address.” You can also support this effort by making a donation here, organizing your own product drive or by bringing awareness to this issue.
The Firm is proud to be one of the founding members of the Justice Served hunger relief campaign, an important initiative of Food Bank For New York City, one of our oldest pro bono clients. Partner Lary Stromfeld conceived of Justice Served in 2015 and has been chairing this NYC legal industry-wide campaign ever since. |
Our 2022 Diversity Brochure once again tells an important story of our continued progress toward achieving our diversity, equity & inclusion objectives. |
Roof Above was born out of the merger of Urban Ministry Center and Men’s Shelter of Charlotte, two prominent organizations long recognized as community leaders in homeless services. Today, Roof Above is a comprehensive homeless service provider serving 1,200 people a day through a spectrum of services ranging from street outreach, day services, emergency shelter, and permanent supportive housing. Cadwalader has been supporting Roof Above by providing volunteer hours, and now our firm is delighted to be partnering with Wells Fargo to meet our monthly volunteer commitment.
Black History Month annually celebrates and honors the important contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout the nation’s history, and once again, the Firm hosted numerous events, both virtually and in-person.
