The Firm is extremely proud of associate Andrea Hoffer for securing Lawful Permanent Resident status (green card) for a pro bono client who was referred to us by Immigration Equality in early 2016.

In June, attorneys and summer associates from our Charlotte office partnered with attorneys from Bank of America and Mayer Brown for a wills clinic at the North County Regional Library in Huntersville.

In honor of Hunger Action Month (September), the Firm is hosting activities across all of our offices to support local hunger relief agencies – The Campaign Against Hunger (NYC), Roof Above (NC) and Martha’s Table (DC). A project is being planned for our London office in honor of World Food Day, which is celebrated worldwide on October 16.

Since last year, over 70,000 individuals seeking asylum have arrived in New York City and more are arriving each day. Over 45,000 asylum seekers are currently living in New York City shelters. There is an urgent need to assist these new New Yorkers in filing asylum applications. In consultation with immigration legal service providers and the city’s legal profession, Mayor Adams announced an ambitious plan to assist as many asylum seekers as possible this summer.
