Fund finance expert Catharina von Finckenhagen has joined Travers Thorp Alberga as a partner in the Cayman Islands.
Catharina is a dual-qualified Cayman Islands attorney and Luxembourg avocate, providing both combined and standalone Cayman Islands law and Luxembourg law advice from a U.S. time zone.
Catharina advises major U.S. and foreign banks and other financial institutions in structuring subscription credit facilities, hybrid facilities and other secured and unsecured lending arrangements, management fee lines, GP lines, co-invest loans and other fund finance products from a Cayman Islands law and Luxembourg law perspective. Catharina has been involved in many complex syndicated and bilateral credit facilities to funds.
Catharina is recommended by Chambers Global 2022 as a leading lawyer in banking & finance and is recognized by IFLR 1000 as a rising star. She also won a rising star award by the Fund Finance Association in 2020.
