Fund Finance Partners this week published an article titled: “Improved BDC Leverage Options Set to Take Off in 2020.” The article covers the easing of the '40 Act’s leverage limitation on BDCs by increasing their debt-to-equity ratio from 1:1 to 2:1. BDCs that obtained the approval of their boards of directors last year for increased leverage are now able to amend existing credit facilities and/or enter into new ones.
