Cadwalader associate Jaclyn Hall was honored by Barrier Free Living (BFL), a nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic violence with disabilities and their families, at the organization’s annual fundraising event in New York on December 11.
Jaclyn is the recipient of BFL’s inaugural Jack Fritts Mission Impact Award, which recognizes the outstanding pro bono or volunteer contributions of an individual whose dedicated services and exceptional commitment fulfill BFL’s mission.
The award honors the memory of the late Jack Fritts, Cadwalader’s former chairman and managing partner. Jack, who formerly served as the BFL Chairman of the Board, was instrumental in BFL’s development and growth. Jack’s wife, Anne, presented the award to Jaclyn, with three of Jack and Anne’s children in attendance.
Proceeds from BFL’s fundraising event, “Raise the Roof,” will go toward environmental and critical upgrades to the organization’s Freedom House, a domestic violence shelter for women, men and children that has helped individuals from over 40 states and internationally.
