Cadwalader advised D.E. Shaw & Co. in its agreement to add four new directors to the board of Bunge Ltd.
Bunge announced today that it had entered into agreements with shareholders D. E. Shaw and Continental Grain Corporation pursuant to which Bunge will add the new directors and set up a strategic review committee. Bunge’s board will expand from 11 to 15 with the new directors. Three new directors -- Continental Grain Co. CEO Paul Fribourg, Flatwater Partners Founding Partner Gregory Heckman, and Pacific Point Capital LLC President Henry “Jay” Winship – will join the board immediately. A fourth new director will join the board by the close of 2018.
