Cadwalader advised Dealer Car Search, a provider of technology services to more than 6,000 pre-owned auto dealers, in its sale to LeadVenture, a provider of digital storefront and digital retail services that serves over 35,000 dealership rooftops across 13 vertical markets. Following the transaction, Dealer Car Search will continue to operate as a premier auto retail website and marketing provider under the umbrella of LeadVenture's brand. Financial terms were not disclosed.
This transaction further bolsters Cadwalader’s position as a market leader in the automotive software sector, with a track record of advising on many of the most significant transactions in the sector, including advising ELEAD1ONE in its sale to CDK Global, fusionZONE Automotive in a major growth investment by Primus Capital, and Dealer Product Services in its merger with OneCommand, Peak Performance and TimeHighway.com to form Affinitiv, Inc.
