Cadwalader advised Kingsland Holdings Limited, the second largest shareholder of Avianca Holdings S.A., in connection with the entry by Avianca into a joint business agreement with United Airlines and Copa Airlines. The strategic and commercial partnership among Avianca, United and Copa will bring new service and innovation for passengers traveling between the United States and 19 countries in Latin America.
The cross-disciplinary Cadwalader team was led by Corporate Department Co-Chair Richard Brand and also included Corporate associates Tyler Carson and Daniel Shiner; Financial Services associate Michael Yu; White Collar Defense and Investigations Chair Jodi Avergun; Litigation Chair Jason Halper; and Finance partner Kurt Oosterhouse.
