As we reflect on 2024 LGBTQ+ Pride Month, it was an absolute honor to have Philip Calabro, Safe Schools Program Facilitator, PFLAG NYC, join us for the latest installment of the Cadwalader Civil Rights Series Program on June 25.
Launched in New York City in 1973 by mothers and fathers who stood up for their gay children, PFLAG NYC started a national movement that now has more than 250,000 members and supporters in over 500 chapters throughout the United States. Philip discussed the importance of allyship and fostering support for the LGBTQ+ community. You can watch the recording here. Shortly after the program, our Cadwalader LGBTQ Network celebrated Pride 2024 with a wonderful reception.
