Cadwalader has helped Politan Capital win two seats on Masimo’s Board of Directors following yesterday’s vote by shareholders at the medical device company’s annual meeting.
As widely reported in the media and in this official announcement, both of Politan’s nominees – Darlene Solomon and Bill Jellison – were elected to Masimo’s Board. They will join Politan founder and Chief Investment Officer Quentin Koffey and former Johnson & Johnson executive Michelle Brennan on the Board. Cadwalader also advised Politan in their successful 2023 proxy contest. Masimo shares rose more than 8% today on the news.
The Cadwalader team is led by Corporate co-chair and partner Richard Brand and includes partner Nick Ramphal, special counsel Richard Rowe, and associates Jonathan Seliger, Emily Dworkin and Claire McGuinness.
