Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, a leading counselor to global financial institutions and corporations, has been named US 2015 Structured Finance Team of the Year by The Legal 500.
The Legal 500, a leading guide to the legal profession, determined the award based on results derived from the research conducted for its directories. The Legal 500 Awards recognize each element of the legal profession equally, representing the very best law firms, corporate counsel and business leaders operating within the US market.
Cadwalader was recognized by The Legal 500 as having “a longstanding reputation across the spectrum of structured financing including securitization (across all asset classes, but particularly CMBS and CLO), structured products and derivatives.” The publication also mentioned the team’s development of “a number of novel products.” Overall, Cadwalader’s US structured finance practice is heralded as “one of the leaders in the industry” for both transactional and regulatory work.
