Cadwalader received an inaugural award at this year’s GlobalCapital 2021 Americas Derivatives Awards, acknowledging the firm’s timely and robust service to clients during pandemic-driven market disruption.
Named as “Americas COVID-19 Resilience Derivatives Law Firm of the Year,” the award is part of a new category created by GlobalCapital to recognize “the companies that did the most to support clients and others in the coronavirus.”
The firm’s Financial Regulatory Group advises clients on virtually all financial law-related statutory and regulatory requirements, including those governing U.S. and foreign banks and bank holding companies, commercial and consumer finance companies, broker-dealers, securities and futures exchanges, swap dealers, clearing corporations, investment advisers, funds and pension plans. Cadwalader lawyers provide advice across the full range of transactions and products with respect to registration and licensing, compliance, capital treatment, reporting, examinations and enforcement.
GlobalCapital is a news and data service focused on the international capital markets. The award winners were decided by an editorial panel following a pitching process that occurred earlier this year.
