Capital Markets Practice named “Top Issuer Counsel” and “Top Underwriter Counsel”
Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP (Cadwalader), a leading counselor to global financial institutions and corporations has been recognized by Commercial Mortgage Alert in its midyear rankings as the top securitization firm in the country. Cadwalader’s Capital Markets Department, led by Michael Gambro and Patrick Quinn, was recognized as both “Top Issuer Counsel” and “Top Underwriter Counsel” by the publication.

In the first half of 2012, Cadwalader’s team was selected as issuer counsel on 75 percent of the US based CMBS transactions, with a combined issuance of over $14.370 million. The firm also acted as underwriter counsel in 23 of the 28 total transactions, which reflects a firm wide increase of more than 15 percent in comparison with the first half of 2011.
