Cadwalader Real Estate Finance associate Eunji Jo has been recognized in the Commercial Observer’s annual “Young Professionals” issue, which recognizes leading professionals under the age of 35 in various commercial real estate roles, including sales and leasing, debt and equity and architecture, engineering and construction.
Jo is acknowledged as one of 25 “Debt and Equity” honorees, in part for her recent work advising a syndicate of lenders in connection with Blackstone’s $13 billion acquisition of American Campus Communities, a developer, owner and manager of dedicated student housing in the U.S.
Jo focuses her practice on all aspects of closing commercial real estate financing transactions, including the drafting and negotiating of loan documents; completing property-level diligence such as reviewing space leases, ground leases, zoning reports, reciprocal easement agreements, condominium documents, management agreements and franchise agreements; completing entity-level diligence; negotiating opinions; ensuring coordination among all parties to the transaction; and overall deal management.
She is also a regular contributor to Cadwalader’s monthly real estate finance newsletter.
