The Cadwalader team, including partners Bonnie Neuman, Holly Chamberlain and Nick Brandfon, played a critical role in helping JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo secure the Deal of the Year by the Commercial Observer. Neuman presented the award at the 2023 Power Gala to Joseph Geoghan and John Gustafson, who were accepting on behalf of financial powerhouses JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo respectively.
Together, the JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo teams originated, sold, syndicated and securitized four separate loans totaling approximately $3.9B in financing that secured Blackstone’s place as the largest owner of student accommodation overnight and positioned ACC for continued growth and development. This deal was one of critical importance in the markets, and we were proud to have partnered with long-time clients to see it to the finish line.
