Cadwalader Financial Services partner Mercedes Tunstall has been named as part of Citywealth’s list of the top 20 “Crypto Power Women” in the U.S., which cites the honorees as among “the best crypto experts” in the country.
Tunstall, who is widely recognized as a legal leader in fintech, cryptocurrency and consumer financial services regulation and compliance, counsels banks, lenders, payment companies, digital asset companies and fintechs regarding federal banking regulators and compliance with laws and industry standards. She also defends clients against enforcement actions taken by these regulators, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
