Cadwalader partners Bonnie Neuman and Ellen Holloman have been named to the 2022 Crain’s New York Business “Notable Diverse Leaders in Law” list.
The list of honorees features 80 attorneys who “excel in their practice at New York’s leading law firms” through both their counseling and pro bono work and their commitment to “community service, philanthropy, professional mentorship, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.” All honorees themselves represent diversity in the workplace -- including women, people with disabilities, African Americans, Latinos, Asians and other underrepresented groups.
Crain’s wrote that Neuman, who is co-chair of Cadwalader’s Finance Group, head of the firm’s Real Estate Finance practice and a member of the firm’s Management Committee, is a “recognized leader in real estate finance law,” in addition to being a “committed leader on diversity and inclusion initiatives.” Neuman is noted for her participation in the firm’s sponsorship program and as a leader within the CRE Finance Counsel (CREFC) Women’s Network.
Crain’s described Holloman as a leading attorney who handles complex commercial litigation and related issues on behalf of large companies, banks and other financial services clients, who is also committed to a wide range of broader legal industry efforts, including as the partner sponsor for Cadwalader’s Black and Latino Association, as a board member of the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and as an active participant in multiple pro bono engagements.
