Charlotte partner Jeffrey Nagle has been inducted as a fellow by the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL), just one of eight nationwide honorees (law firm practitioners, in-house counsel and academics) this past year. This honor acknowledges Nagle’s market reputation and service to clients and, in particular, his work in recent years on LIBOR transition as part of Cadwalader’s LIBOR Preparedness Team and part of the team serving the Federal Reserve’s Alternative Reference Rates Committee.
The ACCFL is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the field of commercial finance law through education, legislative reform, and the recognition of distinguished practitioners, jurists, and academics. To qualify for membership in the ACCFL, eligible attorneys must have achieved preeminence in the field of commercial finance law and have made substantial and repeated or sustained contributions to the promotion of learning and scholarship in commercial finance law. The College offers a venue to promote and recognize outstanding achievement and advances in the field of commercial finance law.
As part of Cadwalader’s team advising ARRC, Nagle has been instrumental in developing best practices for fallback language across all cash products.
