Cadwalader partner Ellen Holloman appeared in The Hollywood Reporter in connection with her role in the ongoing litigation related to longtime television and radio personality Wendy Williams.
The article, “Wendy Williams’ Team Asks Court for All Proceeds From Lifetime Docuseries to Fund Medical Care,” discussed Ellen and Cadwalader serving as co-counsel to Sabrina Morrissey, Ms. Williams’ court-appointed guardian, in an action against the creators and distributors of a documentary, Where Is Wendy Williams? that aired in February 2024.
Ms. Morrissey is suing A&E Television Networks, Lifetime Entertainment Services, EOne Productions, and Creature Films and its executive producer, Mark Ford, in connection with the documentary, the airing of which our team attempted to halt earlier this year.
