Andrea Gabriela Weitzman is an associate in Cadwalader’s Finance Group. She focuses on commercial real estate finance, representing financial institutions that originate complex CMBS, balance sheet loans and mezzanine loans, including the restructuring of various balance sheet loans.
Andrea has consistently been recognized for her work on behalf of clients. She was named to CREFC’s 2024 class of distinguished “20 Under 40” professionals who have positively impacted the commercial real estate finance industry. Andrea was also listed in the 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America guide in the Real Estate Law category; and was cited by Super Lawyers as a 2023 “New York Rising Star for Real Estate.”
Andrea received her J.D., cum laude, from New York Law School, where she served as Staff Editor of the New York Law School Law Review, a Harlan Scholar affiliated with the Center for Business and Financial Law, and a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council. She received her B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
