Anya Kyong is a senior attorney in the Capital Markets Practice in Cadwalader’s Washington, D.C., office. Her practice is in mortgaged-backed securitization where she has primarily represented government-sponsored entities as issuer and guarantor in agency transactions.
Anya began her career at Cadwalader in the Financial Restructuring Practice, where she focused on non-consolidation and true-sale matters related to CMBS transactions. Prior to rejoining the firm, Anya worked in-house as associate general counsel and represented Freddie Mac in the issuance and sale of mortgage securities.
Anya received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law School and her undergraduate degree, with distinction, from Yale University. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
