Chad Lee represents clients in a wide range of civil matters and white collar investigations. He has advised clients on civil matters ranging from post-merger contract disputes to civil RICO claims. He also counsels clients seeking to avoid or prepare for potential litigation related to corporate governance disputes and contract interpretation. His white collar experience includes internal and government investigations for large multinational corporations in the pharmaceutical and oil & gas industries.
Chad also maintains an active pro bono practice. He regularly represents indigent criminal defendants and other incarcerated individuals in federal and state court.
Chad received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was an Executive Editor of the Michigan Law Review. He also earned his M.A. in economics from Michigan State University and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University. He completed post-B.A. studies in Chinese and economics at Nanjing University in China. Prior to law school, Chad worked in economic consulting, regularly advising financial institutions on fair lending issues.
