Doug Arborio’s practice involves the representation of investment banks, financial institutions and other market participants in asset-backed securitizations, secured commercial lending transactions (both syndicated and bilateral) and CLOs. Doug has diverse experience representing clients in their roles as issuers, underwriters, and sellers in public and private securitization transactions, including those involving commercial and residential mortgages, corporate loans, receivables and mortgage servicing rights. He has also represented clients with respect to the purchase and sale of residential mortgage loans and multifamily loans, as well as structuring and negotiating financing facilities, warehouse lines and repurchase agreements.
Doug has been consistently included in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for his work in Securities / Capital Markets Law since 2021.
Doug received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Emory Law Journal, and his B.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Emory University. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Georgia and Connecticut.
