Edward Morphett is an associate in the Capital Markets Group in Cadwalader’s London office. Edward advises a broad range of domestic and international clients in connection with a variety of structured finance and asset backed securitisation transactions.
He has experience working across a range of ABS transactions including securitisations of auto loans/leases, consumer loans and trade receivables and RMBS transactions. In addition, he has experience advising financial institutions across a variety of CLOs and loan warehouse facilities.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Edward was an associate in the derivatives and structured finance team at Allen & Overy, where he completed his training contract. He also served on secondment in the firm’s Moscow office and worked in its Luxembourg office.
Edward graduated from Durham University with a B.A. in History and obtained his LL.B from the University of Law. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
