Emory Burns is an associate in Cadwalader’s Intellectual Property Group.
Emory’s work focuses on intellectual property matters in a variety of technology areas. He represents clients in patent infringement lawsuits filed in various U.S. District Courts, including the Central and Southern Districts of California, the Northern District of Texas, and the District of Delaware. Prior to joining Cadwalader, Emory was an associate in the Dallas office of an international law firm where he also specialized in intellectual property litigation.
Emory Burns received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, and his B.S., cum laude, in Chemistry from Clemson University, graduating with general and departmental honors. Prior to attending law school, Emory worked for a patent prosecution boutique.
