Michael Shammas is an associate in Cadwalader’s Global Litigation Group.
Michael received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School where he was Staff Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology and Editor-in-Chief of The Harvard Law Record, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Duke University. He is admitted to practice in New York, Maine, and North Carolina.
Michael clerked for two federal judges: The Honorable D. Brock Hornby on the United States District Court for the District of Maine, and the Honorable Ronald L. Gilman on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Prior to joining Cadwalader, Michael was a litigation associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in Manhattan, New York, and he held teaching and research positions at the NYU School of Law and Tulane Law School, respectively.
