Molly Lovedale is a partner in Cadwalader’s Finance Group, focusing on real estate finance. She primarily represents financial institutions in connection with the origination of mortgage loans secured by commercial office buildings, retail properties, hotels, warehouses, multifamily housing, including many multi-state, multi-property pooled transactions. She also has experience in the origination of mezzanine loans, the servicing and sale of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and participation interests, and repurchase facilities.
Molly was recently named to CREFC’s 2023 class of distinguished “20 under 40” professionals who have positively impacted the commercial real estate finance industry. She was also named to Charlotte Business Journal’s 2023 “40 Under 40” list, named an “On the Rise” real estate attorney in the 2023 ALM Southeastern Awards and was included in the 2023 edition of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Real Estate Law. In 2021, Molly was recognized as part of Euromoney’s “Rising Stars Awards Americas” in Real Estate. She received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, summa cum laude, and a B.A. from Davidson College, cum laude with honors. Molly is admitted to practice in the State of North Carolina.
