Sharon Takhar is an associate in Cadwalader’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice, resident in the London office.
Sharon advises clients on corporate internal investigations and in responding to requests from regulatory authorities including the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Her recent experience includes matters in the insurance, life sciences and automotive sectors.
Sharon also represents individuals who are witnesses or the subjects of internal, regulatory and criminal investigations.
Sharon is a member of Cadwalader’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) taskforce advising on the emerging regulatory framework in this area. She is also a contributing author of Cadwalader Climate.
Sharon is a Recommended and Key Lawyer in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 United Kingdom (Fraud: White-Collar Crime (Advice to Individuals); and Regulatory Investigations and Corporate Crime (Advice to Corporates)).
