In commemoration of Asian Pacific Heritage Month, the Cadwalader Asian Pacific American Attorney Resource Group was honored to host a virtual presentation by Phil Tajitsu Nash, an Adjunct Lecturer in the University of Maryland’s Asian American Studies Program and board member for the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF). Phil covered a brief history of Asian Americans, the impact of the pandemic on the Asian American Pacific Islander community, and the passage of the new Anti-Asian Hate Crime Bill.
