In February, Cadwalader and partner Stuart Goldstein were mentioned in an article, “Charlotte Ranked Among Top Walks Nationwide To End Alzheimer’s,” which appeared in Charlotte Stories, an online news publication devoted to the Queen City. The article notes how Charlotte has been ranked No. 18 in the nation out of the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2023 Top 30 Walks and cited the leadership of Cadwalader, including Stu’s fundraising efforts, being among the key factors propelling the city’s return into the top 30 for the first time since 2016.
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. With a goal of $30,000 for the October 2023 walk, the Cadwalader team raised over $45,000 and, since 2012, we have raised nearly $450,000 in the fight against Alzheimer's, placing as a top 50 team in the entire nation in each of the last three years. Stu is a former Chair of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter (a position now held by partner Wes Misson), and he is a 2019 recipient of the association’s Award of Excellence.
Thank you to Stu and Wes for their leadership, to our team who participated in the walk, and to everyone who generously contributed their time and donations to this important cause.
