Cadwalader has added Jaye Kasper, a leading advisor to private equity funds and public and private companies, as a partner in its New York office.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jaye to our firm,” said Cadwalader Managing Partner Pat Quinn. “Her broad experience in sophisticated transactions will be of great value to our clients.”
Jaye’s practice focuses on advising private equity funds and private and public companies on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, de-SPACs, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, executive compensation, incentive equity arrangements, governance and other general corporate matters. She also advises private equity funds in the management of their portfolio companies, including financings, follow-on acquisitions and liquidity events. Jaye joins Cadwalader from another major global law firm, where she was a partner in their corporate practice.
“Jaye has an exceptional track record in guiding major matters,” said Corporate Co-Chair Richard Brand. “She has fostered strong relationships with private equity funds and has the legal and commercial perspective our clients look for in outside counsel.”
“I’m excited to be a part of what’s happening at Cadwalader,” said Jaye. “I’ve always been impressed by the Corporate team here and am looking forward to contributing to further developing the practice.”
